Creation’s Beauty
Richard Boll
10/19/26 — Sanibel
Verse 1
My heart longs to praise You;
Lord, help me find a way
To tell this world Your story
Through the things I do and say.
When I struggle to love others
As You have first loved me,
Help me pause, recall Your words,
And be as you would be.
Verse 2
The ocean stretches onward,
Beyond what I can see;
Somewhere lies a distant shore,
But now, You’re here with me.
The clouds reflect the sunlight
Across the sky so blue;
I stand beside the water
And lift my praise to You.
Chorus
Your creation’s beauty
Is more than eyes can see;
It whispers of Your goodness
And the love You have for me.
I don’t understand it fully,
But I feel it in my heart.
May these tears of adoration
Be my vow to never part.
Verse 3
And Lord, it’s still Your birds
That always make me smile,
Darting through the morning air
With grace and so much style.
I watch them ride the breezes,
Then they settle in the sea
These simple gifts You give,
Speaks tender love to me.
Closing Chorus
Your creation’s beauty
Is more than eyes can see;
It whispers of Your goodness
And the love You have for me.
I don’t understand it fully,
But I feel it in my heart.
May these tears of adoration
Be my vow to never part.
