A Child’s Love

A Child’s Love
by Richard Boll 9/25/25

There’s a love, that’s unlike any you could find.
It’s a special love. Innocent, pure; one of a kind.
Knowing this love, is knowing God’s warm embrace.
Transcending all cultures, boundaries and race.

God created this love, as a reflection of His own,
Giving it to everyone, who’s time was once known.
Back when life was much simpler, fun and care free.
Only focusing on toys, friends, and just what to eat.

A child’s love, can be powerfully felt in our heart.
Growing with each word and hug from the start.
Finding this love, is a blessing, don’t ever forget.
God is loving you. His loving child paid your debt.

I now understand why children love Jesus.
It’s through their eyes that God really sees us.
He loves us through them, and it make Him smile.
For there’s no great love, than the love of a child.

(After teaching music for a few days to the elementary children at our Broward Christian Academy (BCA), I was inspired to write this poem.)
