If I think I’ll  receive forgiveness,
Telling God what I’m going to do.
I’d better stop, and think again!
That’s not how it comes for you.
There is nothing more important,
Than preparing for this life’s end.
It’s a heart that’s cut and asking,
“What’s it I must do, my friend?”

Then comes that once a life moment,
The greatest need to listen and obey.
Of all the teachings that are out there,
God knows only one is His. The way.
In Acts 2 we read, about the people,
When they heard what Peter spoke
Were cut to the heart and asked,
“What should we do? No joke!”

Repent, and be baptized, in Jesus’ name,
Sins will be forgiven and you’ll never be the same.
Receive God’s Holy Spirit, be added to His Church.
You know your purpose: make disciples, teaching
what I taught and never stop the search.
