Forever Near

Please try not to cry because of my leaving.
Do you can see my face, smiling and beaming?
With a joy far greater than I have ever known.
With a love beyond what I have ever shown.

I am with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Whom I have loved all my life, the very most.
I will try my best to describe what I now see.
They are all one glorious body, not just three.

Like concentrated frozen juice, in a can.
We’re diluted with water when our life began.
But, the day we walk through that great door,
God transforms us back to His image before.

So please do not cry for that is where I am.
Walking with our God and holding His hand.
There’s no pain, no tears or sorrow up here.
Only thankful rejoicing; we are forever near.
