RLB 11/28/24 (Daniel 5:11,12)
I don’t understand the hand that guides me. But, I know that He is there.
When I think what His hand has given, I am humbled, amazed and scared.
A knowledge and understanding, given because of His love and our belief.
I pray this awareness brings you heaven’s hope, with a deep sigh of relief.
Daniel was a powerful prophet of God, who was also guided by His hand.
Moved to tell two kings, “Because of your pride, you will no longer stand!”
They both fell, they did, just like he said; these kings with a mighty crash.
They did not believe or obey the hand of God. But, threw it in the trash.
The many lessons we learn along life’s way, are sometimes very hard.
But the ones we don’t get or just forget, leave us scared and marred.
God’s hand is His Holy Spirit, becoming available that Pentecost day.
Which we only receive at our baptism, Scripture says it is the only way.
If you’ve not experienced the mighty hand of God, you are still in sin.
Meaning Jesus died and raised in vane, and you will miss heaven’s end.
The choice is yours. But please understand, our relief has always been.
God wrapping his hand around you saying, “This is the way my friend.”
