(Luke 14:7-11)

Humility only comes with the destruction of pride.
That is so hard to see, for it loves to hide.
When advice is given, exposing it to the light.
It’s that emotion you get, to resist and to fight!

We must understand it is the most dangerous sin.
If it’s not destroyed, there is no way we will win.
What are you feeling even now as you read?
A subtle resistance, or a strong desire to heed?

Behaving like Jesus, his walking right by your side.
By putting others and God way above yourself.
The same way that Jesus considered himself.
