A Poem inspired by a picture by Chuck Steele.

One Loved Bee
Like the flower created for the Bee,
In love, you have created me.
Not to take, for the love of money.
But only to give, the sweetest honey.
The flight was long, the work so hard,
But I do it gladly, with no regard,
My only focus, is which flower is next.
I search and find, with no regret.
The stinger I carry, is only defense,
Using it, could not be more intense!
When needed, it will cost me my life.
Protecting the colony, and my wife.
I am on this earth, for a reason.
To love, no matter what the season.
To live in thanks, for His creating me.
Just as I am, one loved Bee.
