Ezekiel 9:3-4 RLB 11/23/21

Like the Israelites in Egypt protected by the blood,
Like the righteous in Jerusalem, escaping slaughter from above.
We too are marked and sealed by the cross etched on our heart.
For we died with him in baptism and raised to never part.
Yes, buried with him in baptism, we’re raised to never part.

I am sealed, I am sealed. Sealed by the blood of the Lamb.
Sealed, my sins are forgiven. Saved to take my stand.

No greater cost, no greater love could God spend to pay my debt.
It should have been me up on that cross, instead the tears God wept.
“It is finished,” his last cry, gave His spirit and then he died.
But, three days later he rose from the dead for His bride.
Yes, He has risen for His church, His loving Bride.

I am sealed, I am sealed. Sealed by the blood of the Lamb.
Sealed, my sins are forgiven. Saved to take my stand.
