Speak Good Words

Jeremiah 15:18, 19

When I struggle in my faith and start to think, God’s not there.
Or that He’s like a dried up spring, and He just does not care.
This is how the Lord responds, so I’ll continue to serve and thrive.
Return to me, I will restore you; you will do more than just survive.

Speak good words rather than worthless ones, you’ll be restored.
You will again be my spokesman, someone not to be ignored.
You must influence them, and not let them ever influence you.
My words I will give you, are good words, powerful and true.

I ask, “Why does my suffering continue? Why these painful wounds?
That seem so incurable because of all the sadness that they include.
God’s answer is the same, speak good words not worthless phrases.
You are my spokesman, I love you and were created to give me praises.
