The Battle

The Battle

Richard Boll 12/20/25 (Revelation 11:7-12)

When the enemy  attacks, what do I do?
His foul breath confirms, he’s come for you.
I see his hand, as he grabs my chest.
He wants me dead, and nothing less.
The Beast may conquer, but will not win.
Just like my Lord, I will rise again.

Then all his enemies, will clearly see.
The battle is real, and not just for me.
A spiritual battle, reigns in every life.
Dividing closest friend, husband and wife.
Changing good into bad, truth into lies,
Concealing attacks, by thinking it’s wise.

But nothing could be further from truth.
Lying, stealing and killing’s uncouth.
So I must not think for a minute I’m safe.
Because Satan, is always up in my face.
He can’t touch, the greatest love I adore.
The cross did not finish, Jesus my Lord.

He died that sad day, hung on a tree.
On a tree He created, for you and for me.
The same power raised, Him from the dead,
Is available to me, as God’s Word has said.
So, when the enemy attacks, what do I do?
Focus on my risen Jesus, and be made new!
