Luke 14:25-35 RLB 9/11/23

Why is it so hard to be consistent in the Lord?
Why are there days when I act spiritually bored?
If I continue along this path, I know all will be lost.
Could it be that I, have stopped counting the cost?

The cost we think, is what we will have to pay.
But the cost is really, what has already been paid.
The death of God’s Son, for our sins, is the cost.
Beyond recognition, beaten, nailed to the cross.

How soon we forget, and fail to recall,
All God has done, since that Garden fall.
He consistently reminds us, Jesus is the way.
Let us all remember, the cost everyday!
